About the truth…
“Say not, "I have found the truth," but rather, "I have found a truth."
Say not, "I have found the path of the soul." Say rather, "I have met the soul walking upon my path."
For the soul walks upon all paths.
The soul walks not upon a line, neither does it grow like a reed.
The soul unfolds itself, like a lotus of countless petals.”

Khalil Gibran

”On ne voit bien qu’avec le Coeur”

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

And life is an exciting journey for we never stop learning.
Sometimes it is not what we see or hear or what we fully comprehend…sometimes… we just feel it...
Yes…It feels right…to us…
“To know the pain of too much tenderness”

This is part of my journey:

“J’ai le coeur qui s’épuise á douter
Dans un monde qui saigne.
A fleur de peau j’ai le passé
Qui murmure et m’enchaine,
Et l’horizon pleure….
A fleur de corps J’ai la tendresse
Des maternelles caresses.
A fleur d’ame je me condamne
A garder un regard ouvert
Sur tout ce qui me desespére…
Et je ne veux pas me taire…”

A few words…

Often we choose not to speak about what really matters. We get wrapped up in our busy lives. We are, or believe we are under pressure to conform to certain standards; sometimes these are more superficial than fundamental. Our sense of priority is interfered with and we often push things aside. As individuals we feel we have little say. Personally, I do not believe this.

We all have opportunities to show how we feel about our fate as human beings. We can choose what happens to our planet and all that live
here, today and the next day and the next.

If some of us claim to be at the centre of this earth we inhabit, then surely we should also claim the responsibility that come with it! My personal opinion is though that this is just a claim...this is possibly a theory worth examining!

I take here the opportunity to share part of my own recent experience.

Last year in a casual conversation, a musician friend made me realize something I was completely unaware of. And I am greatly thankful for this. He told me that creams, shampoos, makeup and products I had been using quite innocently for years were tested on animals. I decided to do some research and learn more about this. The horrific details of how animals were suffering so unnecessarily out of old established and dated practices made me realize immediately and without any doubt that I wanted no part in this practice. I was shocked that I could have lived for so long in ignorance of how these products where made. My choice was simple. Many Companies have found other humane ways of testing their products which do not involved animals.

I looked into how we breed, transport and kill animals for our consumption and clothing, it was a simple step. Organic and farm bred took a whole new meaning to me, my obvious choice was in this context to become a vegetarian.

I have chosen not to be silent anymore and I will continue to share with you what I learn as I look further into some of these issues.

I have included some websites I found useful during my research, they offer an insight into what is done supposedly on our behalf and for our
benefit!

Of course this is only the surface of what needs our attention. I will soon publish here some more facts and statistics. These help to highlight where we are today and what we are in danger of disregarding.

My strong felt wish is the following:

That we take some time to identify as individuals how we can assume responsibility for the way our beautiful planet and all its inhabitants are treated. It seems to me that the main thing is not to avoid speaking about it and to share our views, whatever they are even at the risk of disagreeing. This is what I have tried to do here.

We can make a change!
